Community for the next Million Trees

With the Million Trees initiative SYNE Foundation is targeting 10 million new trees every year for the next 10 years adding additional 100 million trees to our ecosystem.

The 100 million trees will remove 5 million tonnes of CO2 from our atmosphere. It means 120,000 hectares restored. We have to plant 10 billion trees to offset 12 million hectres lost in the Australian bushfires in 2020.

Our Habitat

One touch of nature makes the whole world kin. We should maintain our habitats in its natural equilibrium which is key for our own existence.

Climate Change

We should control climate changes like global warming by planting trees. Climate is what we expect, weather is what we get.

Wildlife should be preserved ensuring balance of life. If we save our wildlife, we will ultimately save ourselves. It is everybody’s work.

Earth provides enough for every man’s needs, but not for his greed. Conservation of nature’s resources should be to maintain the food cycles.

For most of history, man has had to fight nature to survive; in this century he is beginning to realise that, in order to survive, he must protect it.
~ Jacques-Yves Cousteau.

How Million Trees works

We are bridging reforestation champions, academia, corporates, local councils and governments to create an opportunity within a purpose-driven digital space.

This will be the first-of-its-kind online community for the reforestation agenda, enabling more effective dialogue and collaboration to support successful and exponential reforestation action on the ground. We will work to raise the level of ambition and spending from business, governments and philanthropists, and provide guidance to turn that ambition into action.

SYNE Foundation is a registered not-for-profit with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC).
